Live Life 2 GLORIFY GOD*** READ ME. hehe!

Was stuck in bed all day with a heavy case of FLU!! The worst thang about the flu is a real SNOTTY NOSE!!! eeeuw.. where does all that mucus come from, yukkiness!

While i was in bed was thinking back several weeks. Watched a sermon by this David guy and he spoke about: HOW TO POSTPONE YOUR FUNERAL. The title of this sermon def caught my attention and i was like-I HAVE TO WATCH THIS. . .The discussion was so interesting that i seriously feel like sharing it with you guys. Hope you enjoy it as much as i did. Unfortunately i cant upload the sermon but ive taken down every fact,. So here goes:

How to Postpone your Funeral:

Starting off with this verse:

Revelations 14:6

'Then i saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the EVERLASTING GOSPEL to preach to those who dwell on the earth-to every nation, tribe, tongue and people-saying with a loud voice,' "FEAR God and give GLORY to Him for the hour of His judgement HAS COME and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water." 

People have this idea of an angel being a person with white clothing, puffy white wings and a supernatural aura encircling the person. NOPE, wrong- an angel is merely a messenger from God: Have you heard the word EVANGELIST? have you spelt it?

take away the EV and IST and what do you have - the word ANGEL. thought that was kinda cool. hehe.

so with that said, in revelations 14:6 the angel brings forth the 1st message in result to the 2nd coming. 

The angel also says that You must FEAR God. Fearing God is NOT like shaking and trembling at His presence, its not being afraid of GOD. It merely explains that we must know WHO GOD IS, form that relationship with Him and Live a Life to Glorify Him.

1 Corinthians 6:29

"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy spirit who is in you, whom you have from  God and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price therefore GLORIFY GOD in your BODY and in your SPIRIT which are GOD'S."

1 Corinthians 3:16

"Do you not know that you are the tempel of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the tempel of God is Holy; which temple you are."

When you go grocery shopping or join family or friends for dinner at some restaurant do you say:

I want to buy something or eat something that will Glorify GOd? Most of us would answer NO.

If we can Glorify God through praise, worship, prayer and in Spirit then Glorifying GOd through what we EAT and DRINK is just as important!!

3John 1:2

"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

Luke 2:52

"And Jesus increased in Wisdom and Stature, and in Favor with GOd and Men."

THis verse demonstrates the 4 Dimensional nature of man.

1. Intellectual: Wisdom

2. Physical: Stature

3. Social: Favor with men

4. Spiritual: Favor with God

God is Concerned about all 4 dimensions of man!

Your Body was purchased by the blood of JEsus.

Most of us go through life saying: we all have our time, when we die we die regardless of how we live. GOd has set His time for my death, only he knows. BUt have you ever thought of this possibility: YOU CAN DIE BEFORE YOUR TIME?

A healthy body = a healthy mind. God communicates with us through our mind (brain)

Our brains are like spiritual antenaes, Satan is aware of that fact and thats why he uses addictions like: Alcohol, cigerrettes, drugs becasue it compromises (affects) the integrity of our brains.

A healthy mind = a healthy body as well, if you going to fill your mind with negative thoughts and filth then what are you goin to show through your body language and physical well being.

When i was in high school several of my friends had this notion that: ITS MY BODY,  I CAN DO WHAT I WANT TO-NOOOOOOOOOOO! it is NOT YOUR body... it belongs to God, Without GOd our bodies are DUST particles easily blown away!

We need to disabuse our minds from the fact "its my body!!"

Romans 12:1

"Therefore, I urge you brothers, in view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as LIVING SACRIFICES, Holy and pleasing to God, this is YOUR SPIRITUAL ACT OF WORSHIP"

-the way you take care of your body is your spiritual act of worship.

When push comes to shove and We have to Choose between living or dying for God which would you choose?

Surely, God is happy that you would be willing to die for Him BUT in this time and age: ITS NOT ABOUT DYING FOR HIM BUT LIVING FOR HIM..

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION!

HAHAH, had to laugh at this: INSTANT . . . . . . . . IdIOT= Just add alcohol!

Ex Friends of mine would then argue with me and say: That the bible teaches you to drink WINE.

hahah.

There were 2 types of wines in the bible.

1. unfermented wine (fresh grape juice)

2. fermented wine (rotten which turns into alcohol)

im not sure about you guys, but id rather drink FRESH unfermented wine than the Rotten Stuff!

We as people need to study the bible IN CONTEXT. We need to interpret the bible as if we were looking through a magnifying glass!

Some people would say that Jesus himself drank wine during the last supper:

Go to Mark 14:22:

"And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and  gave it to them and said, 'take, eat this is My body.' Then He took the cup and when He had given thanks He gave it to them and they all drank from it. And He said to them, 'this is My blood of the new covenant which is shed for many. Assuredly, I say to you, I will No longer Drink of the Fruit of the vine until that day when i drink it new in the Kingdom of God."

So, the wine that represented the blood of Jesus, The wine which is the fruit of the vine and of the new covenant and not of old- which CLEARS IT ALL UP AND STATES THAT WHY WOULD JESUS DISTRIBUTE GALLONS AND GALLONS OF fermented WINE WHEN HIS VERY EXISTANCE OF LVING AND DYING WAS TO SAVE US AND NOT DISTRIBUTE TO OUR ETERNAL DAMNATION!

Q: CAN YOU DRINK ALCOHOL TO THE GLORY OF GOD?

Good common sense will tell ya the answer!!!!

In Proverbs 23:29-33:

Solomon desribes a drunkard.

Go read it. A bell might just ting in your head.

GOD LOVES ALCOHOLICS BUT HATES ALCOHOL.

Certain Lifestyle practices will destroy our bodies.

Every cigarette you smoke takes 14.5 minutes off your life.

People might argue and say but show me a verse in the bible that forbids one not to smoke.

No, there is no verse but USE YOUR COMMON SENSE ONCE AGAIN. GOD HAS GIVEN YOU A MIND SO USE IT- IF 14,5 MIN IS TAKEN FROM YOUR LIFE PER CIGERETTE YOU SMOKE THEY WHY DO IT?????????????

GOD LOVES SMOKERS BUT HATES SMOKE!!

Deadly chemical cousins:
- NicotINE
- CocaINE
-HeroIN
-StrychnINE
-CaffeINE

All of these end either in INE or IN. They are sub-narcotics.

Q: CAN YOU TAKE THESE SUB NARCOTICS TO THE GLORY OF GOD?

Caffeine is a strong stimulant. Drinking coffee doesnt make you a non christian but i doubt we will be sipping cappucinos in the NEw Jerusalem.

Majority of diseases people are suffering from are: self-inflicted.

Q: Does God have anything to say about what we EAT?
A: YEBO YES!!

Genesis 7:
God instructed noah to bring both clean and unclean animals into the ark because after the flood God gave Humans persmission to eat meat.

The ages of the patriarchs declined significantly following the flood. In this day and age if a person reaches age 70 its a miracle!

Go read Leviticus 11:
According to the bible the only edible meat is the meat that comes from an animal that chews its cud and that has a split hoove.
Pig is unclean meat. Pork has the highest fat content of all meats according to the bible.
Fish with scales and fins  is the only edible meat from the sea. Shellfish like crab, oysters, shrimp etc are not edible. Shell fish also known as the seas filters are DIRTY AND DANGEROUS- they feed off all the secretion and dirt from other sea animals. COMMON SENSE IS NEEDED!
Go read Philippians 3:19.

~False Prophets~ TRUTH OR LIES? READ ME!!!! hahah!

Ive been across the world and no matter where ive been ive heard stories about people claiming to be Jesus incarnate, Who claim to have the gift of speaking to the dead, who claim to have seen Mother Mary and recently OPRAH which has totally lost her mind and founded her own Church with her NEW AGE vision. IF you havnt noticed lately- the MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE in the world are Against Christianity and are in serious need of mental check up. (Lady GAGA, Rihanna, beyonce) list is never ending! hahah. Seriously! and the AMazing thing about all this is the fact that the bible has prophecies about false prophets rising and convincing: not hundreds but MILLIONS of people.

What prompted this blog about false prophets was an article in my local newspaper and news about Armegeddon occurring TODAY!! and looky here, We still on planet earth, no armegeddon???? it amazes me how people are so easily fooled and deceived by others. SO easily manipulated by BOOKS they read and stories they lead. THE BIBLE IS THE ONLY BOOK WORTH BELIEVING. Instead of testing the bible with book truth, test Book truth according to the BIBLE!! That same principle goes to ALL PEOPLE OF INFLUENCE: PASTORS, EVANGELISTS, LEADERS ETC..

THE ESSENCE OF DECEPTION IS THAT YOU ARE UNAWARE YOU ARE BEING DECEIVED!!!

Q: How can you be sure you are not deceived?
A: Your life is consistant with the bible.

We living in times where the Anti-Christ is a living entity among us. Think of it this way:
Anti-Christ will not appear as a violent apposer but as a SUBLTE IMPOSTER!
MEANING THAT IT WILL NOT APPEAR WITH a PITCH FORK AND DEVIL HORNS AND A RED CATSUIT BUT IT WILL APPEAR AS A "SPIRITUAL LEADER...AS A SUGAR COATED CANDY IN A PRETTY WRAPPED BOX- 2 Corinthians 11:14: "and no wonder! for Satan Himself transforms himself into an angel of LIGHT.  get the picture??
Jesus, Paul and John in the book of revelations make it clear that miracles, signs, and wonders will be employed by Satan to deceive!

**CURE OF DECEPTION -> LOVE OF TRUTH (BIBLE)!

The Most DANGEROUS kind of deception is SELF-DECEPTION!!!

The anti-Christ takes many shapes and forms and has many names.

The anti-christ speaks pompous words:

I urge all believers to STOP PUTTING YOUR FAITH IN WORDLY THINGS, ON PEOPLE OF THIS EARTH- BUT INSTEAD FORM AND LAY A STRONG FOUNDATION ON THE WORD OF GOD AND ON THE SHOULDERS OF JESUS CHRIST!!!

Mistakes-pain in the butt**

Hey hey hey, whats up guys and gals?

BLEH:
True story: here we go!

I was under the impression that once a person becomes a 'reborn' or rededicates his/her life completely to Jesus - your path is easy breezy, no mistakes, no hiccups... WELL I WAS WRONG!

Being a rededicated Christian is far from easy. Its proving to be quite challenging, even more than my life back in the day. . . It was so easy to let the curse words flow out, the occasional crude word too. How happy-go-lucky i was to be out and about with friends getting up to irresponsible stuff without the slightest care in the world. How easy money was splurged to finance my 'yukky habbits'. Wow, thinking back to the time when fashion, designer brands and a fancy lifestyle was essential to my happiness, the more i had the more i wanted and when i mean wanted i mean Capital-WANTED. I remember all to well how the opinions of people was the driving force behind my personality and how i yearned to be accepted by those that wouldnt even give me the time of day!! 
Its crazy how being a 'CHRISTIAN' was an after thought, a reminder of heaven and hell and right and wrong. I still cant fathom how 'EASY' it was to be BAD-how 'EASY' it was to SLOWLY destroy your spirit, soul. 
So. . . EASY DOES NOT ALWAYS = GOOD and CHALLENGING DOES NOT ALWAYS = BAD!
Catch my drift...

Being a 'Christian' is more than a word, its more than a lifestyle: Being a Christian is about having that unique and personal relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit; its about becoming more Christ-like within each passing day and its all about serving others.. Whether you lending a hand and foot to the poor(missionary, charity etc) or going into ministry or participating in a church community=spreading His WORD!

God has become a living being in my life. Jesus has become my personal savior and the Holy spirit is with me at all times so with that cleared and well said- I STILL MAKE MISTAKES, at least im aware that through my Mistakes im disciplined and my sin is revealed and because of that i can go down on my knees and pray to my Father in heaven to Forgive me of my sin through Jesus Christ my savior and redeemer! The enemy is out to punish us through our mistakes and we are sometimes silly to allow him to have that power. Our mistakes arent there to punish us, to demolish us but to teach us WHAT NOT TO DO and to become the person Jesus intends for us to be. AMEN!!!!!!

So yeah, This path im on with my God is one massive obstacle at times but its the Journey of a lifetime. I wouldnt trade it in for anything and im SOOOO Happy and motivated by the fact that through my trials my Lord is training me to be a leader in Christ and Spread His word like a fire which burns the flame.

Hey ALL JESUS LOVERS:

Welcome to YA 4 Jesus- YALL***
Well, this is super cool. Kickstarting my blog has been fun and something ive been considering for a while now. Jesus sure knows how to equip you with the right means and resources to become 'Clued up' with the ever revolutionary techno! haha!!

okay, So, basically this blog is my own personal diary, where i will be HAPPY CHAPPY or down right poopy- whether im neither or both i will be blogging away about my journey with Christ.

I think many of us could relate to some of my future blogs and its great to read that there are people with similar booo's and aaaaa's of life, love and day to day testamonies.

WOW, my 1st BLog. haha. such a weirdo, at least im a weirdo for JEsus right?

Heres some useless info about me:

- Im 21 years old.
- Became a rededicated Christian on: march 30th, 2010 and going strong ever since.
-blonde at the moment???
-work for ERA REAL ESTATE and Lurving it.
-Kickstarting my bible studies soonish.
-family orientated! woopA!
-part of the Volle Evangelie Kerk community. FULL Gospel Church
-and the rest is well-to be continued!

                                                      Whats on my mind today:             
Im not sure about you guys, but i tend to get too involved in my friends issues that sometimes i feel like screaming my brains out. WHY WONT THEY LISTEN to ME???? Sometimes speaking some sense into them seems Like speaking to a massive brick wall!! 

So last night, lay in bed having my usual chat with Jesus, asking what i should do? How can i get through to them? Prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide my every word. . . . . . .  Then it hit me. 
Would i take my friends constructive advice if i was in there shoes? PROBABLY NOT! I would take what they said into consideration but truly focus on what they said, NO!
I'd FOCUS ON WHAT GOD SAYS! I would rely on GOd to lead me through that situation and there will prob be 2 options: 1. I'd bump my head and be disciplined bcoz of it or 2. I'd make it through unscathed and Happy! I guess what im trying to get across is that i VALUE GOds will and truth and word more than others. I will listen to my friends advice objectively and if they do make perfect sense i will test what they said with an open mind. If they happened to be right in the end of it all, I would prob thank them for having way MORE sense than i did, but id feel like a winner coz i learnt my way through GOds way which makes perfect sense in my perfect little world.
 
So yeah, I guess i need to push brakes concerning my friends and Give them the space and time to figure it all on their time but on Gods terms.
WOW, feel a pound lighter. haha.. Darn it, blogging is great.

On my way home saw a sunset that made me smile like a wacko... OUR GOD IS A LIVING GOD. ANyone say AMEN to that! hehe :-)
